When i tried to update java getting an error mentioned below. Anyone can help me to resolve this issue
The prompts to update being the major complaint at my organisation (mostly Vista Business, some Win7Pro), my solution was to disable the automatic update feature of Java using regedit for the Admin accounts, then just set Java to never update on the user accounts. There have been a few occasions recently where a Java update fails. Having looked about for a solution, there is two methods that i have found to quickly rectify the problem. 1) The cheats way. Re-install java on top of itself. May 10, 2013 - If the logged on user is only a standard user, then the java updater fails to correctly use the BITS service to download the new update.

Try to use 'windows Offline' installation instead of 'windows onLine' installation.https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jspopen the link above and select Offline installation.Hope this will solve your problem.

It sounds to me as if it can't find the installer. What happens if you try loading the MSI linked in the error message using a web browser0010?

I've been getting this error message on Win7 SP1 x64 for several weeks, since 2015-11-20 (when I made a screenshot of the message) until yesterday.
Today (2016-02-05) the installer finished successfully. I wasn't messing anything about Java, network settings nor temporary files.Therefore my guess is that Oracle has made some fix, please retry now.
